How to update your user profile?

Your Noovy user profile lets you personalize your experience and manage important settings.

Here's how to update your profile:

1. Accessing Your Profile

  • Click on your profile icon in the top left corner of the Noovy dashboard.
  • Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu and click on it.

2. Updating Your Information

The "Edit My Profile" page allows you to modify various aspects of your profile. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

  • Profile Picture:

    • Upload a photo: Click on the avatar with the camera icon to upload a new profile picture from your computer. Allowed file types are JPG, JPEG, and PNG, with a maximum size of 5MB.
    • Choose an avatar: Alternatively, you can select one of the pre-made avatars provided by Noovy. Click on the avatar you want to use.

  • Name* Update your name in the "Name" field.

  • Email: Your email address is displayed for your information, but can be amended.

  • Language: Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu. This will affect the language used throughout the Noovy interface. (If your language is an available Noovy language for the app to be translated to)

  • Date Settings: Choose your preferred date format (e.g., European: day/month/year).

  • Time Settings: Select your preferred time format (e.g., 24h format).

  • Week Start Day: Set the first day of the week according to your preference. This affects how calendars and schedules are displayed in Noovy.

  • Currency Format: Choose how currency is displayed (e.g., symbol before amount).

  • Number Format: Select your preferred number format.

3. Managing Permissions

The "Permissions" section of your profile allows you to control access to different features and functionalities within Noovy. This section is typically managed by administrators to assign roles and permissions to users, if your role doesn't allow it, you can not amend your permissions without a manager.

  • Permissions: This section lists various modules or areas within Noovy (e.g., Bookings, Rates, Accounting). Each module has a dropdown menu that allows you to set your permission level for that specific area.
  • Guide: This section likely provides access to help documentation and guides within Noovy.
  • Communication: This section controls access to communication tools within Noovy, such as messaging or email templates.
  • Bookings, Rates, Accounting, etc.: These sections control access to the corresponding modules within Noovy. The available permission levels may vary depending on the module.

Important Notes:

  • The options available in the "Permissions" section may vary depending on your user role and the specific configuration of your Noovy account.
  • If you need to change your permissions, you can contact your Manager.

4. Applying Changes

  • Apply: After making any changes to your profile or permissions, click the "Apply" button to save them.
  • Reset: If you want to discard any changes you've made, click the "Reset" button.
