Importance of Sales Order in a reservation
In Noovy, a Sales Order is used to record a guest's purchases, such as rooms, meal plans, and other available items and services. This document is automatically generated by the system for all reservations and provides the total amount that the guest needs to pay. A reservation with no Sales Order will show zero amount for the total booking. A Sales Order can also be provided in response to a customer's request for a quotation.
Typically, a Sales Order contains details such as the customer's contact information, room details, other items or services being sold, prices, payment terms, related taxes, booking number, sales order number, and other pertinent information. Any changes made to the booking will automatically update the Sales Order accordingly.
It's important to note that a Sales Order document can be finalized to become an invoice.
