Adding free items to a rate plan
Ideally, your rate plans should reflect every component of a reservation. This article shows you how easy it is to add free items to a rate plan.
The way you configure your rate plans is a key driver of your hotel's commercial success. A well-designed rate plan structure does more than set prices: it makes clear exactly what each offer includes, ensures your team and your guests share the same expectations, and makes it easier to manage distribution across all channels. In Noovy, you can attach free items to a rate plan to create clear, bookable packages.

Configure the free item to a rate plan
- In the related Rate plan setting scroll down to the applicable field Free Items Package:
- Click the small arrow to open the list of available items for this rate plan, then select the items you want to include:
- Hit SAVE to make the change:

A single rate plan can include a mix of both payable and complimentary items.

Items on OTA's:
It is the hotel’s responsibility to configure any additional items on the booking channels (such as Booking.com, Airbnb, etc.) so that the package offer is clear from the Channel's side as well. Noovy only transmits the room rate itself to these channels.
