Apart from the rooms that are sold there might be other products that need to be added to the system. Products such as bike rental, parking, late check out and early check in, or food and drinks (when the hotel has a mini shop for example).
Creating rooms will be done by your Customer Success Manager in our support department. If you like to add or change rooms, please note that this is solely done by our NOOVY employees.
In order to add a product you need to determine what the applicable taxes are first. Is there a high VAT or a low VAT applicable?
- Go to the main menu on the left of your screen and go to Settings
- Choose Products
- Go to New Product on the left-hand top corner of your screen
- In General fill out the applicable details:
- Fill in your agent's name
- Choose the right product type. (Mind you, the taxes that are applicable for each product type are defined in the tax settings in NOOVY. See the tax settings therefore first. The product that you are going to add must therefore be under the correct product type. ).
- Product name (for example: Parking)
- Create a clear short name (for example: PRK)
- Determine and fill out the base price for the product (the price you would at least ask for the product)
- Determine and fill out the minimum price for the product
- Would you like to sell the product per person? (2 pax in the room will be charged). Per product usually will post only 1 time the price of the product.
- Choose the maximum amount of products that are available (for example: if the parking lot only has 10 parking spaces you fill out 10 here), if there is no max, choose arbitrary
- Affected by is mainly used when creating rooms
- Here you can choose how many ppl are using the product (for example Tandem bicycle = 2 people)
- Optional: If you would like to arrange all created products in a specific order you can choose the order of this product here.
- Choose when you would like to start selling the product.
- Optional: Choose when you would like to stop selling the product (seasonal products such as Parasol rental)

In Locations choose the Venue and the venue the product is applicable to
