There are two ways to manage and adjust user access in Noovy: by changing an individual user's role, or by editing the permissions linked to a role that multiple users may share.
Option 1: Adjusting a Single User’s Role
To modify the access of a specific user:
-
Navigate to the Menu Bar > Profiles > Users.
-
Locate the user in the overview table.
User Overview Fields:
-
ID – Unique personal ID for the user.
-
Name – Name assigned to the user.
-
Hotel – Venues the user can access (can include multiple hotels).
-
Access Level – Default set to Hotel.
-
Role – Displays the user’s assigned role and related permissions.
-
On/Off Toggle – Enables or disables account access.
-
Pencil Icon – Click to edit user profile, including role changes.
To change the role, click the pencil icon and select a different pre-set role under the Role dropdown. This will apply the corresponding permissions to the user.
Option 2: Editing Role-Based Permissions
If you want to customize what a role can access (affecting all users assigned to that role):
-
Go to Menu Bar > Settings > Permissions.
-
Click the eye icon next to the role you wish to edit.
-
In the pop-up, toggle permissions on/off per category.
⚠️ Important: Changing a role’s permissions will apply those changes to every user assigned to that role.
Use this method carefully when you want to make bulk permission adjustments across multiple team members, or when creating user Role's within Noovy.
