Learn how to use the "Revenue Report" in Noovy to have an overview of all your created invoices and credits in an indicated time period.
1. Accessing the Revenue Report:
- Log into your Noovy account.
- Navigate to the Menu Bar on the Left and select the 'Reports' section, then locate and click on the 'Revenue Report' option.
2. Understanding the Report:
- Report Overview: The "Revenue Report" shows an overview of all generated invoices and credits for an indicated time period. It helps you track the details of every generated invoice or credit and can be helpful to give you an insight of your total revenue for a time period.
- Data Columns:
- Invoice number: This is the unique invoice number, automatically generated by Noovy when an invoice/credit is created.
- To: This is the indicator for the person/company the invoice/credit was assigned to.
- Document Type: This stands for the document type, either an invoice or credit.
- Total Amount: This shows the total amount belonging to the unique invoice/credit.

- Balance: This shows the remaining balance in the booking where the invoice/credit was generated from.
- Booking Number: This shows the booking number which the invoice/credit was generated from.
It is also possible to see the report in a different view by toggling it from table view to chart view. This allows you to see it in the following way: seeing the total amount for a certain time period or categorized as for example shown with restaurant, food and room, while also reflecting the different between the net amount and the total gross amount with the taxes included.
By selecting creation date, you can modify the time period to the time you want to have an overview of your revenue. For example, you can select a week, a month, a year, a quarter etc.
3. Filtering the Report:
- Accessing the Filter: Click on the "Filter" button located on the top right corner.
- Creation date:
- The creation date stands for the date the credit/invoice was generated by Noovy.
- Select a specific date range to overview the invoices/credit for a particular period.
- Click the calendar icon to choose start and end dates.
- Due date:
- The due date stands for the departure date of the booking from which the invoice/credit was generated.
- Select a specific date range to overview the invoices/credit for a particular period.
- Click the calendar icon to choose start and end dates.
- Document Type:
- Here you can filter either on invoice or credit.
- Source Type:
- Here you can filter on source, either on Bookings or POS (if applicable at your venue).
- Applying and Resetting:
- Click "Save" to apply your filter selections.
- Click "Reset" to clear the filter and view the full report.
4. Exporting the Report:
- It is possible to export the report in Excel where you will both see the total amount and the individual invoices/credits.
