You might want to lock the room that was assigned to certain bookings. Reasons: Guests might prefer a specific room, VIP treatments might have been put on the assigned room, or you do not wish to physically move a guest that has a second reservation.
In Noovy we offer the option to lock the room so it will be assured not to be unallocated.
Take the next steps to lock a room:
- Search for the booking you would like to lock the room for (see article " How do I search a booking?" )
- Click on the eye symbol in order to open the basic details of the booking
- In the pop up screen click on the lock symbol in order to lock the room
- You have now successfully locked the room to which it cannot be moved from the reservation
- You will now be able to see a red lock symbol on the reservation in the Room Calendar

To notify your colleagues always add a comment saying DNM (do Not Move) and the reason why. See how to add a comment here.
On top of this you can notify your colleagues of the comment by setting an attention to this booking by clicking on the attention sign. Clicking on it will mark it in red as shows here;
