In the main view of the Room Calendar, you can see and interact with the following:

Room Calendar-1

  1. Date range picker - is used for letting you choose the date range between the dates you want to see the reservations in the Room Calendar.
  2. Allocations - when a reservation has been created and is not yet allocated to a room,  you will see it there so you can allocate it.
  3. OOO(s) Rooms - when you click on this button if you have a room that is OOO for a longer period, that segment can be hidden or displayed.
  4. At the top of the Room Calendar you can see the dates of the month you are in so you can easily navigate and move some rooms if needed.
  5. In the left part of the Room Calendar you can see all the rooms sorted by room types.
  6. These are the numbers or the rooms you have under one category (room type)
  7. Out of Order - When a room is marked as 'Out of Order', it cannot be allocated for reservations and is temporarily unavailable for booking. This feature is useful when you need to prevent bookings for a specific room and time period.
  8. Future reservations or reservations which didn't make the check-in yet - These reservations are indicated by a gray color and are visually displayed as a segment representing the duration of the specific booking.
  9. Reservations In-House - Reservations that have already checked-in are displayed as a green segment indicating the duration of the booking.
  10. Stayed reservations - These reservations are indicated by an orange segment, showing that the booking for that particular room has already been completed and checked out.
  11. Out of Service - If a room is labeled as 'Out of Service', it means that it cannot be assigned for reservations until you remove it, and should be the last room booked. This feature is beneficial when there is minor damage to the room and you prefer it to be the final option for booking.
  12. Room type button - Rooms are organized in the room calendar based on their room type.
  13. Floor button - Rooms are organized in the room calendar based on their floor.
  14. Status - Rooms are organized in the room calendar based on their status
    ( Arrivals, Departures, In-House, Empty)
  15. List - Rooms are organized in the room calendar based on their number, the rooms will be displayed ascending.

When you hover your mouse on a specific  reservation on the calendar, you will see a couple of vital pieces of information:

  • The booker;
  • Booking ID - internal reference number;
  • Channel - who made the booking or from which channel has dropped;
  • Comments - the comments added to this specific reservation;
  • Balance - to see the remaining amount to be paid.
