Noovy Locks are natively integrated into the Noovy platform, delivering next-generation automation for hotel access.
Guests can access their rooms via multiple methods, providing total flexibility without compromising security. In every instance, access is automatically restricted to the specific duration of the guest's stay.
ACCESS METHODS
Noovy Locks support several access options:

Code - The easiest and most reliable way to access a room. By default, guests are issued a 4-digit code, though this can be customised to meet individual hotel requirements (ranging from 4–9 digits):
- Keycard - Traditional plastic keycards remain available as an alternative option:
- Web App* - Guests can unlock their rooms via the Web App, while hotel teams can manage access directly through the Noovy App. *Available as of summer 2026
- Physical Metal Key - For emergency situations, each lock is equipped with a physical override key to ensure manual access at all times.
SEAMLESSLY CONNECTED
Because Noovy Locks are natively connected to the platform, hotels benefit from total automation and granular control at every stage of the guest journey:

Seamless Issuance - Access codes are automatically generated and sent to guests immediately following online check-in

Custom Scheduling - Delivery can be tailored to your preference—for example, scheduling codes to be sent at 8:00 AM on the day of arrival.

Multi-Channel Delivery - Ensure guests receive their credentials via their preferred platform - Email or WhatsApp.

Staff Control - Your team retains full flexibility to manually send codes or create physical keycards directly from the Noovy dashboard.

Duration-Locked Security - Access is strictly limited to the stay duration (arrival to departure), regardless of how early the code is shared.

Auto Check-in - The first use of an access code can automatically trigger the check-in process in your PMS, providing a contactless arrival experience.

Real-Time Updates - After room assignment changes or after a booking is extended/shortened, codes are automatically updated, and guests are instantly notified of the change.

CLOUD-BASED INFRASRUCTURE
Noovy Locks operate on a cloud-based infrastructure, communicating seamlessly via dedicated gateways:

Bluetooth Connectivity - A gateway is installed in the hotel's corridor, establishing a secure Bluetooth link with multiple locks simultaneously.

Flexible Internet Access - Gateways connect to the cloud via Ethernet (cable), Wi-Fi, or SIM card, ensuring reliable uptime regardless of your infrastructure.

Optimal Range - For peak performance, the recommended distance between a gateway and a lock is up to 10 metres (32 feet).

Efficient Scaling - To ensure robust coverage, Noovy provides one gateway for every five locks.
This ensures all locks remain continuously synchronized with Noovy in real time.
