The Payment Report explained

This report provides an overview of all payments and refunds—processed by gateway, terminal, or entered manually. All features will be explained in this article. *Sensitive details in the images are hidden for privacy reasons.

The Payment report is particularly useful for:

  • End-of-shift reconciliation (e.g. by front desk staff)

  • General financial overviews

  • Auditing and back-office reporting

 

 

The Payment report can be found from the main menu under Reports :

 

At the top left of the Payment Report Page, you will see the total payments received for your selected date range

The total includes a breakdown by payment method, such as credit card, payment terminal (gateway), cash, and others:

 

The Payment Report explained per tab

Each row in the report details a single payment, refund, or financial transaction.

  1. Creation Date – The date the payment or refund was recorded.

  2. Type – Indicates the type of financial action (e.g. Payment, Refund).

  3. To – The account or party the transaction was applied to (e.g. Guest, Company, Channel).

  4. Created By – The user who processed or recorded the transaction.

  5. Reference – The invoice reference number for the transaction.

  6. Booking Number –The unique booking number assigned by the system.

  7. Amount – The payment or refund amount.

  8. Payment Method – Indicates how the transaction was completed (e.g. cash, credit card, bank transfer).

  9. Booking Date – The date the booking was originally made.

  10. Arrival Date – The check-in date for the booking.

  11. Departure Date – The check-out date for the booking.

 

💡Tip:

You can change the sort order of the creation date within the period you have selected in the date range of the payment report.

Simply click on the arrow behind the creation date header to change it:

 



  • Click the eye icon behind the transaction to view, send by email, or print the official receipt:

 

  • Enter the recipient’s email address and click the purple arrow to send the receipt, or select the Print button to generate a physical copy of the receipt.

 

  • Use the Filter button (top-right corner) to refine your results by date, user, or other criteria.
